Guantanamo Prisoners. Compensation Used For Terror?

Why were these people given compensation to start with?
Is there a cover up we don't know about, are every supposed terrorist then given compensation?
This seriously needs looking into!

I would like to know the answer to this as well. Trying to wrap my head around it and searching the Internet for details. They might have had a case of wrongful imprisonment or felt that their country did not support them, turned their back on the injustice and the prison they were put in.

We have a family in my city who fought against Canadians, Americans Brits, ended up in guanronimo bay. and one of them, our prime ministers, a liberal, bleeding heart, had the nerve to call them Canadians and fought to bring him "home".

I am all for helping people but I draw the line at bleeding heart for those who have killed and fought against the very people, country that opened their arms.

Also, why didn't you put this in latest news?

 

Hardly surprising since the UK and the US both funded and trained ISIS anyway.
