I just watched Barack shake Trump's hand and Michelle allow him to kiss her on the cheek after he compared her to an ape.

Fuck the democratic party and the American people. They have no honor or dignity, much less freedom anymore, and are allowing 20% of the population to decide everything merely following the money and the guns wherever they lead.

How nice and lucky you and your family are that you dont have to personally shed any tears! your parents must have a retirement health plan or will be eligible for one when they retire ?

But how disgusting you havent put any thought into the people who actually need medicare, medicaid, and social security

Could you explain a little on what you mean by "prophetically"? I have my own theories just wondering if yours are similar.

 

I guess I will go first...

I think he became President because the American Capitalist neoliberal agenda is the show that brought greed capitalism to it's finish. In the subconscious of the people in America that put him in office there are strong beliefs that America is the land of opportunity, and they are not getting that now. Chump embodies the height of that neoliberal agenda. He is the symbolic apex. Now he will try to build American into a Chump empire ( which is supposed to include all Americans - :/ ), his methods will be those he has become an expert at. Manipulating the financial institutions to fit his trickle down beliefs. A real big problem with that is that people under 40 really view the world differently. They are not so conditioned to believe in the "Leave to Beaver" propaganda. I feel like there is going to be a lot of battles with him trying to slip through the "rule of law", and that some, if not most of his actions will be at odds with the younger more environmentally concerned youth, and they don't seem to be passive. The 4 years ahead will be nothing but false news ( except earthquakes, assassinations, you know the real physical happenings ), and a media fallout. We are not going to know what is really happening. There will be decisions made behind closed doors, and extreme cyber security. This is what we Americans did with our so called "freedoms." Made a monster that consumes the living world we dwell on. Well now we get "Nero" to take over, and as Rome burns again, (like all mountains must crumble ), we will be forced to give up our antiquated beliefs about "America will be great again", and adopt a socialist democracy ( like Bernie could envision ).

 

Buy american. I wonder just how many Americans will pay $5000 for a flat screen TV that China can ship here for under $500? Well, if he can pull it off then maybe "TV repair" can be an actual viable business again.

 

If there is a $4000 tariff on that tv I know which I would buy.

 

Sad day for the republic, but glad this side of the US has been exposed. Maybe we can finally move past our age of blind nationalism.....
