I made an account with photobucket. I just upload my photos there, then post a link to the photo here. You can also use tinypic, or other online storage.
^ image tags do still work too (i assume that's what the tool actually does). it's just kind of a pain to do it that way compared to clicking the button

I did a little test to see if I could post images with Imgur and Flickr. It's about as easy as Photobucket. Just select BBCode as the link address that you will be using. I made a little video during my test. Pardon the video quality - I have stuff running in the background that I didn't want to shut down right now, so I had to lower the image quality of my recording. http://youtu.be/76fMdP0UBuA You can also use the image button like Spaceman said; however, if you are on a smart phone, you have to use the forum "Full View" mode, and set your phone's browser to desktop mode to see the picture embedding icon. For someone like me(fat fingers), using the picture embedding dialog box is not an option.
Thanks got your help on this.... and everyone. I have not done message board in a while and remember doing HTML by hand. I like imgur and will get some pictures up soon. Thanks again, everyone for the help. Cheers well this isn't working for me. here is a link to some photos I took a couple of winters ago at niagara when the falls froze over and some other photos taken around my city when we had an ice storm http://imgur.com/a/vNsEN
Beautiful pictures! I've been there a few times, but I've never seen the falls frozen over. Of course they only appear frozen, they still flow underneath, but it must be an awesome sight to behold.
Ice and more ice Funky sun Another reason I don't like winter. That's the walking/jogging path that's covered in thick ice. Impossible to walk on, let alone run on.
Yes, i have also been many times, but a couple of years ago I went to see what it is like in the winter, completely different experience, not a tourist to be found. ... it was freezing .... maybe one time, if it ever snows again ... take the trip ... worth it in my opinion. Love your photos above. I can feel it.
Great photos dark. Love the taboggan photos and the icecicle ones tooo, really love your last one. More icecicle photos! . <3 What country ? You don't have to say, just curious, looks like a nice place
Thanks. This was taken in Central Park, New York, NY. Without stating my exact location, i live not too far from there. I posted better ones in my photography thread.
Funny, I looked at it and thought it could be my city. It could be anywhere. .. anywhere in a place that has a winter that is. We all relate to the scenes and visuals. Fully understand about anonymity. I will try and find them in the photography thread. I am still trying to find my way around this place. So many topic areas. I have taken a few courses in photography, but by no means am I great at it. I live in Toronto.
