I was wondering about this early on...how they were going to make the transition to the White House.....and said something funny to Stan today..."Yeah, that be like us moving to a trailer from this house..." Maybe not that bad....but.....I made my point. So who will live in the White House? No one? Will that be his office he commutes to every day in a private plane? and if people still donot see his intention by who he is picking, I have to wonder if they have cotton balls for brains...or simply do not care or feel the same way about many of the issues. Talk about the worst picks in the political world right down the line. It is scary and depressing.....and I hope the world and the American continent survives it.
I am not saying right or wrong or deserved jail time or not. Just saying the facts that will stand legally. As for moony no president spends every day in the white house. It's common for the president to have long stretches with very limited stays there. Trump is just asking for less time there than most other presidents. I am not saying he should be able to do this but it's really not a big deal that he isn't there every day. It is actually more a big deal where he IS going to be if he gets his way. If it were up to me he wouldn't get his way.
31. House Oversight phones swamped on Friday as calls come in demanding an investigation of Trump's finances. Calls reached a peak as Trump and his daughter and son in law met with the Prime Minister of Japan, Shinzo Abe. Neither Jared or Ivanka have security clearance and they represent his private business interests, a clear conflict of interest. Just what was discussed in that meeting?
32. Trump's organization runs Windows Server 2003 for his email accounts. This version hasn't been supported since 2015 and Trump hasn't updated the 2003 version since install 10 years ago. Trump is now receiving top security information. Funny the Russians haven't hacked his system.
Trump and co. had better watch their steps or this is gonna get real ugly really fast. I wonder if they realize how much danger they're in.
Yeah I'm really starting to suspect it. All the voter suppression of voters in the Red states, the false anti-Hillary news, and the one-sided hacking of emails by a foreign power, coupled with the dutiful dumping by wikileaks--and we mustn't forget the Coomey bombshell about the Wiener emails, and eleventh hour never-mind. It's amazing Hillary still was able to get a million more votes that the Donald.http://www.mcclatchydc.com/news/politics-government/election/article113977353.html http://www.politico.com/magazine/story/2016/10/the-real-voting-problem-in-the-2016-election-214386 Now about that voter fraud. Is there any evidence, besides more fake news in right-wing tabloids? http://www.factcheck.org/2016/10/trumps-bogus-voter-fraud-claims/ https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/post-nation/wp/2016/09/01/voter-fraud-is-not-a-persistent-problem/?utm_term=.84b37129f2d3 https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/fact-checker/wp/2016/10/19/fact-checking-two-false-claims-by-trump-alleging-widespread-voter-fraud/ http://www.cnn.com/2016/10/18/politics/reality-check-voter-fraud-donald-trump/ https://democracychronicles.com/false-voter-fraud-allegations-back-in-wisconsin/ https://www.brennancenter.org/publication/truth-about-voter-fraud http://www.huffingtonpost.com/courtney-hight/dispelling-the-myth-about_b_12846224.html "Voter fraud" is the sound Republicans make to divert attention to their very real efforts at voter suppression.
33. The conflict of interest continues as 100 foreign diplomats get wined and dined at the Trump International Hotel. Raffle "prizes" were awarded and goody bags handed out. Many people believe staying at Trump's hotels is a way of gaining favor with the president elect. 34. Conflict of interest: Trump formed 8 mysterious companies during his campaign to develop real estate in Saudi Arabia, a country Trump said he will protect. 35. Conflict of interest : Trump met with 3 Indian business partners to discuss business deals. They reported to an Indian newspaper that they discussed possible Trump business deals in India now that he is president elect. 36. Conflict of interest : The culinary Workers Union at the Trump International Hotel, Las Vegas is currently in a dispute with Trump. He gets to appoint all 5 members of the National Labor Relations Board. More labor unions may face Trump Trouble. 37. Conflict of interest : Trump owes hundreds of millions of dollars to both the Bank of China and the Deutsche Bank.
If you ever used a baseball scorecard you would know that you don't write in the balls and strikes and foul balls.
This is in my emails today from Move On organization. I get these updates every day. I want to know what is going on with these right wing, evil nut jobs?.... It gets worse every day.... If i were religious, i would be callig Trump the anti Christ by now....seriously....He is going to destroy us all. It is sickening. At least some people are trying to fight it all. ok...copying and pasting part of the email here now... "Donald Trump wants to give Steve Bannn a set of keys to the White House, but we can’t let that happen. Dear MoveOn member, Donald Trump wants to give "Steve 'Turn On the Hate' Bannon" a set of keys to the White House, but we can’t let that happen.1 Can you spend five minutes fighting back? Read on! As one of his first big post-election moves, Trump announced his appointment of Bannon—a known white supremacist, anti-Semite, and misogynist—as a White House chief strategist and senior counsel.2 This has been followed by a spate of horrific announcements, including Senator Jeff Sessions—a man who's on record as calling the NAACP "un-American"—as Trump's pick for attorney general.3 And while MoveOn is working with allies to fight the most odious appointments, we're also narrowing in on Bannon's appointment to make sure his truly hateful, bigoted politics aren't normalized at the core of the White House. That's why MoveOn members have sprung into action, generating upward of 350,000 signatures on a petition to senators and House members, demanding that lawmakers use every tool at their disposal to stop Bannon's appointment.4 And just last week, we generated the first 8,000 calls demanding the same. Now, it’s time to pick up the phone and ask Senate members to sign on to a "fire Bannon" letter being circulated by Senator Jeff Merkley (D-OR) and already signed by progressive leaders Senators Elizabeth Warren, Bernie Sanders, and others. It is critical to get senators to publicly state their opposition now, before Bannon's appointment is viewed as a fait accompli. Please call: Senators Charles E. Schumer and Kirsten E. Gillibrand Here’s where to call: 1-844-311-4726 (All you have to do is dial this number, enter your ZIP code, and you'll be connected right away.) You can say: "There is no place for a white supremacist, anti-Semitic misogynist in the White House. Please sign on to Sen. Merkley's letter asking Donald Trump to fire Steve Bannon." Trump's appointment of Bannon has been heralded by former Ku Klux Klan leader David Duke, as well as the chairman of the American Nazi Party and other ultra right-wing pundits who believe Bannon will be able to help ensure the fulfillment of Trump's most bigoted campaign promises.5 An excerpt from Sen. Merkley's letter to Donald Trump reads, "... it is your responsibility to put an end to the crimes of hate and prejudice sweeping our nation. These wounds to our national citizenry are of your making. It is your responsibility to rectify the damage. You have the power as President to move beyond the hate-filled rhetoric of your campaign. "We call on you to repudiate your campaign attacks against diverse communities of Americans. "We call on you to address the American people and demand that all Americans end their verbal and physical attacks and replace acts of hatred with acts of kindness. "We call on you to exclude the proponents of discrimination and hatred from the ranks of your Administration, and that includes immediately firing Steve Bannon as your Chief Strategist." Please pick up the phone now and make your voice heard loud and clear. Merkley's letter asking Donald Trump to fire Steve Bannon." Each of Trump's picks deserves a storm of public outrage. But for now, MoveOn members, as well as our allies in Congress and across the nation, will start by focusing our energy on ousting Bannon, because we cannot risk normalizing the white supremacy and bigotry at the heart of his politics. Thanks for all you do. —Justin K., Victoria, Maria, Stephen, and the rest of the team P.S. Here's the full text of Senator Merkley's letter to Donald Trump, followed by the current list of co-signers: Mr. President-Elect: Your campaign conduct and Electoral College victory have unleashed a wave of verbal and physical assaults against our fellow Americans. In just the last six days, the Southern Poverty Law Center has documented hundreds of acts of discrimination and violence toward many of the ethnic and social groups you attacked in your campaign. These attacks are absolutely unacceptable. We condemn them. We stand united with our fellow Americans. Unfortunately, these acts of hate have been enabled by your campaign strategy of promoting bigotry, racism, and sexism. It is the logical consequence of your campaign attacks on and discrimination aimed at Hispanics, African Americans, veterans, immigrants, women, Muslims, Jews, and individuals with disabilities. Millions of Americans see a President-elect who has chosen to knock them down rather than to lift them up. Your conduct has empowered too many Americans to act on their darkest impulses. This is the wrong vision for America and the wrong path for your coming Administration. We call on you to change course. We urge you, as our future President, to join us in rejecting hate and embracing respect for every ethnicity, race and gender. We urge you to join us in fighting for a nation free of discrimination, where every child has the opportunity to thrive and to contribute according to his or her ability. We urge you to join us in fighting for our Constitutional vision of equality and opportunity and the vision in our Pledge of Allegiance of liberty and justice for all. As you assume the mantle of leadership in office, it is your responsibility to put an end to the crimes of hate and prejudice sweeping our nation. These wounds to our national citizenry are of your making. It is your responsibility to rectify the damage. You have the power as President to move beyond the hate-filled rhetoric of your campaign. We call on you to repudiate your campaign attacks against diverse communities of Americans. We call on you to address the American people and demand that all Americans end their verbal and physical attacks and replace acts of hatred with acts of kindness. We call on you to exclude the proponents of discrimination and hatred from the ranks of your Administration, and that includes immediately firing Steve Bannon as your Chief Strategist. It is time for you to act boldly and powerfully to put the nation on a path of healing. For the sake of all Americans, we call on you to rise to the challenge. What a childish response...and I did not need to quote you when responding right after. It was a way of speak. DUH
and you sowed for this?.... because I sure as heck didn't. My entire life spent fighting for things that did not only havesomething to do with me....and my little interests. if that is not insane. I don't know what is.
this sounds like interesting information...however, like yourself ...I am not impressed by information of this magnitude without giving sources for you information. You could have made that up for all we know.
I decided to not include sources in this thread as I am tired of doing the research that anyone can do themselves. You have the same access to the net as I do. Check what I post for accuracy yourself. I spend hours looking up and posting this stuff, invest some of your own time.
Forgive my humor. It was not personal. I'm sure there are a few locks here and there at the white house. just not on any major doors.
