It's more important to God that we believe he's real (when he's invisible, transparent, and inaudible) than that we don't suffer. After all, people suffer as a test of faith.
The demons believe in God and they shudder..there is way more than belief that is required to please him.
What if god's real test is that human beings look through the works of mankind, past the ancient scribblings and drivelings of tyrants, murderers, and hypocrites, and utilizing the greatest tool he has bestowed upon us, the human brain, find a sensible, clear, objectively true path towards the creator?
"What if" How is that working for you? Do you know the creator more? Are you learning practical wisdom? Are you drawing closer to the creator and the creator back to you? Christendom is not the answer. Hypocrites. Actors.
