wait, what subforum is this??? after reading this whole thing (quite entertaining btw), I mean, of course I noticed the OP is like no longer here, right? (or commenting anyway) But...i mean, this IS the "whiners" section right?? I mean, it certainly was fitting in the category!
I'll continue on that, but first, this was NOT my original thinking. As I said, I enjoyed reading what the rest had to say.

But, it WAS on topic...bitching just to bitch, right? And, I mean, because it IS hard to like be "real" or be perceived as real online, well, maybe the OP WAS just following the topic and just giving shit to follow the prompting!...right?? Seemed like a hot topic to bring together the community!

hahaha omg! Seriously though. I mean, I do recognize and worry about like how I'm perceived, for instance. I mean, because I'm literally walking away from a group with a majority of folks who thought I was being, well, probably pretentious (idk for sure, but that's/these are my guesses) pretentious, inconsiderate and close-minded?? The ironic thing of it is is that I was being the complete opposite of that in my mind...well, maybe except for a little "pretentiousness", but that's just because I'm a goof and a troublemaker in the fun sense, not because I'm trying to make anybody feel like shit! Only one or two actually recognized this.

Anyway, but yes, we DO want to sometimes put up a better impression of ourselves. Either we're escaping the humdrum of life (ok, i don't REALLY have complaints about that, but yeah, some things could be better in the world), or, and this is more my case, we just want to put a smile on someone else's face (or a laugh), which makes us smile. Idk. I think that's how I see it. Those one or two folks who got me, well, that was just a good time exchanging some uplifting shit and then going back to "the real world", where we experienced some other uplifting shit! And yet it was real, because we'd recognize and admit to the dark stuff too, but we'd mostly try to focus on the positive. I don't think that's pretentious. I think that's just grateful and people being good to each other. Idk why folks want to be negative all the time! But I get that good vibe here and I don't think anyone...well...haha! but I don't care!
