Milwaukee Rioting

A black man was shot by police and died. He was armed and fled from a traffic stop. He did not drop his gun when ordered to.

Black folks went crazy. They set things on fire. A gas station couldn't be put out by the fire department because of the gun shots flying around.

Four locations are on fire. About 800 people are rioting and chanting "Black Power".

A news photographer was punched and knocked to the ground.

A police officer is in the hospital because he took a brick to the head when it was thrown through his cruiser window.

Couldn't the cops shoot the guy who fled with a gun in the leg or something? Why do they have to kill all the time. Aren't these people trained in how to handle and shoot? Maybe they should train harder in running so they can pursue such people adequately, instead of using their gun to kill. I mean the man was shot in the arm and chest, uhm well why not aim a little lower and you are much more certain you stop him without having a death on your hands...

Im a white girl who was beat down by 15 cops for asking if i was being arrested or free to go. Cops are scum. I ran into cops recently tho n i can tell u they are diff most times..they know everyone knows whats up n expect cams. They runnin scared.

 

The fact is none of you know what really happened. It gets tiring when people form an opinion before all the facts are known. The media has a lot to do with this. Certainly the police serve a corrupt system, so I have a hard time defending them under any circumstance. At the same time, when you're a gang banger and you resort to that lifestyle, I am not going to feel sorry for you when your ass gets blasted.

And rioting and setting your own neighorhood ablaze is simply inexcusable.

 

As with everything it depends on the details. No, when you carry an illegal gun and it is found out and you run away from the cops you are at fault, clearly. Same is when you shoot the guy dead while he's on the run. That should really not happen as often as it does. Also simply inexcusable.
When people get a strong feeling this happens more often to 'people like them' and this is not merely due to the fact that more blacks are in gangs or some kind of violent gettho but also due to profiling and biased trigger happy cops there are gonna be protests sooner or later. Ideally without violence, but hey, ideally the police doesn't kill suspects on the run that often neither.

 

Saw a clip of a kid stealing a box of cheese-its. This looter is fucking pathetic. People are stealing from all these stores and you are risking your life and jail time for fucking cheese-its. Most pathetic looter ever.

when you go around carelessly killing people the population eventually takes notice, they're not stupid. this particular killing alone may or may not have merited this type of response, but if you start stacking straw after straw upon the camel's back, eventually one day....

 

True that. Im involved in a murder investigation right now. And cops are nice to me. Because I know how yo act. And btw thr murder was in philly n im first witness. And it was a black guy who died. And i know another black guy prob killed him. Both probs need to be addrrssed. Learn how to talk to cops!!!!!! Hands on steering wheel. Be polite. Ask to move most of the time itll shocka cop. Try it. Get back to me.
