How about a doggie fun run, where there are no winners of losers in the run. Hippies turn up sporting their latest hippy clothing. There would be plenty of vegetarian food for sale .

I was only being silly. Many types of races attend just to show off their latest bit of clothing and they are not there to place a bet.

    OH, track racing.
I'm glad is slowly going the way of the dinosaur in the states.

I was imagining a Bay to Breakers run, maybe Bay to Barkers.
BTB was a fave among nude runners.

im going to add a "g" in the title so it makes more sense than "An Alternative To Do Racing"

amazing what a difference one letter makes. i truly had no clue this was about dog racing until just now. i thought he was struggling with grammar while talking about those stupid 5Ks everyone loves to run.
