ok, just got one 567 meters from the correct location. it's pretty easy to pinpoint when you're at an intersection and there's signs saying what towns are down each road.
my best one now without any helpful wording was 165 k. small town at the north tip of texas, i figured it looked like that general area but guessed southern kansas.
456 km, i only played one round but none of the locations had any discernable labdscapes, just trees and rocks and road. I guessed Arizona and it was Utah on the one I was 456 km away, the rest of my guesses werent even in the same continent lol

the furt one it gave me was very pretty but very generic that could have been any one of a zillion places all over the planet. i happend to know a place that looked just exactly like that. a place i've seen and been, many many times, but noooooo, that wasn't the one, it was another place that looked just like it in another country. which leads me to question the point of the exercize. but it was a nice picture.
