I Love It When My Clothes Get Stolen....

I really do. It really makes me feel so happy when clothes that I purchased with my hard earned money go missing from the quarter wash in my building. I just love when that happens. Because why else would I by clothes for myself but to have them stolen? That is the only reason I buy clothes I love. I definitely don't buy them to take care of them and wear them myself. Oh no. I buy them to have them stolen. And my $30.00 sports bra that is specifically for my spin class, the one made from a special material? I definitely do not need that.

People fucking suck.



(Now that I have successfully managed to vent about this situation, I am hoping I can stop feeling so fucking pissed off about it. They are just clothes, after all.)

no cameras in laundry room?..

I worry when I take blankets and stuff to public laundromats , but they have cameras in the ones I use.. maybe wont get my stuff back but least there will be some videos of the jerks out there ..

I imagine people will steal women's clothing more. creepy people that is..

Aw, that sucks. If it was someone in the building that is even more of an insult. I wonder with people like that if they would appreciate it being done to them.

I can't imagine even wanting to wear another persons bra, really.

It would never occur to me to leave my clothes washing or drying...when I've had to use a laundromat, I always took a book, a pen and pad or something to occupy myself.

 

I learned this afternoon that my new lacy white panties are also missing.

When I went down to the quarter wash yesterday to collect my clothes, I thought it was weird that the dryer had stopped already....usually I get down there 2 minutes before the load finishes. It all makes sense now. The dryer had stopped because someone opened it to steal my clothes.

 

i've never seen cameras in an apartment laundry room.


i hate apartment laundry. people are so fucking inconsiderate with it. most of them have way too few washers and dryers, like my current laundry room has 3 washers (2 now because one's broke) and 3 dryers for 48 apartments. yet, a vast majority of people that do laundry here will just put their stuff in and leave it in the washer or dryer for hours at a time before they come to move it.

so, the only realistic option is to take their shit out and put it on top of the washer or dryer. otherwise there's 10 people waiting in line for a machine that is just sitting there holding clean clothes. but when you do that, they get pissed off about it. my worst one was a couple months ago. i went and washed two loads of laundry, which takes 38 minutes in these washers. all the dryers were full and finished with their cycle when i started the wash. when i finished washing, the dryers were still sitting there with the same clothes in them, so i took the clothes out of a couple of them and put mine in. when i came back an hour later, the asshole had opened both of my dryers to stop them from working probably 10 minutes into the cycle, so when i got back the timer had run out and they were still almost as wet as when i put them in.

When I moved into my apartment complex that had a communal laundry room, I would often forget about my laundry (I still do kind of). I've been very lucky that none of my stuff has ever been stolen. I've only just lost socks.

Jk but me too, i actually always assumed if I left my laundry someone probably would take it. Kinda funny they're taking your underwear though, it probably is a cross dresser who is too embarrassed to buy or order women's clothing

 

i've literally never sat with my laundry in a public laundry room. i know there's some risk, but i'm willing to risk losing some clothes in order to avoid wasting 2 hours of my life sitting in a laundry room every week. and i haven't lost any clothes yet.

 

what kind of idiot would steal clothing? not suggesting they don't exist. idiots are always in abundant supply.

unless they didn't have any, in which case i would not likely begrudge them the loss.

but if they thought they were going to sell them to buy drugs, i mean, really?

If I were you I would attempt to move up the social ladder so that you can, one day, afford to have your own washer and dryer.

I, personally, do not do laundry, so I do not have this problem.

 

Sigh. In-suite is a renters dream.

 

i guarantee there's a market for them somewhere...
