Trump Calls On Russia To Hack Clinton's Emails

Donald Trump called on Russia to commit espionage in order to find Hillary Clinton's emails. When he was asked if he was asking a foreign government to interfere with the United States election process he replied “That’s up to the president,” according to the NY Times.

This comes at a time when evidence points to Russia being the one who hacked into the DNC email server and apparently released data in an effort to influence the U.S. elections.

This may be the first time a Presidential candidate has asked a foreign power to engage in illegal activities to defeat a political rival.

 

Trump has called Putin strong and powerful, he has downplayed suspicions that Putin has ordered the killing of journalist, he has questioned the value of NATO and announced he might not come to the aid of NATO members who are under attack for without, has called for an end to U.S. arms to separatist rebels in Kiev, and has called for recognizing the Crimea, which was invaded by Russia, as a Russian territory and he will lift sanctions on Russia.

In addition Trump and his advisers have many business ties to Russia dating back to 1980

Trump has an email scandal.

Trump has called on our biggest adversary to hack a private email server of a United States citizen and a Presidential candidate and or the servers of the United States government...and you think Hillary has a problem! All you people who claim our privacy is being abused by our government have no problem with a Presidential candidate asking a foreign government run by a man who kills journalists to illegally and covertly hack into our servers and steal private, public, and state emails!

A man who when he had his emails subpoenaed in 2006 in a court case involving Trump Towers destroyed all business emails from 1996 to 2001. Emails that were kept on private servers even though he had a dedicated business server. ~ USA Today

But that's okay because he's Donald Trump and an outsider. An outsider who calls for espionage against our country.

And of course Hillary has a problem.

The DNC is not Hillary Clinton and Hillary Clinton is not the DNC just as the DNC is not Bernie Sanders and Bernie Sanders is not the DNC. Is there an email that was sent by Hillary Clinton that promotes dirty deeds against Sanders?

As far as Trump and his sarcasm.....if you believe that you are not as smart as I thought you were. Maybe you should sign up for Trump U. I heard him say that was a pretty good deal.

You will never accept that the Russians hacked the DNC if you haven't already. You don't believe the FBI, the independent firms Crowdstrike, Fidelis Cybersecurity, Citizenlab, or Mandiant. And you don't believe Thomas Rid of King's College London or German security officers who found the same malware used by the Russian military to hack their Parliament last year.

You also don't see a possible link between the release by Wikileaks just in time for the Democratic Convention. The same organization who helped find a home for Eric Snowden in Russia, and who has publicly criticized the revelations against Putin by the Panama Papers and who's founder is an out spoken critic of Hillary Clinton. But maybe that belongs in the conspiracy section.

No, I'm asking you for proof before you make accusations. Unlike you I don't convict people based on supposition, that's not how I was raised.

Of course he's pretty loose with his words, that's one reason he can't be President, he's a loud mouthed idiot.

His con only works if you allow it to work. I don't buy his "sarcasm" defense. Either he knew exactly what he was saying and should be held to account for asking a foreign power to interfere with our elections or he made a stupid sarcastic remark which no Presidential candidate should have made as it casts doubts on his patriotism and judgement. Either way he doesn't know what he's doing, he's clueless, as his campaign manager pointed out:

So they keep talking about a scandal that isn't one as there was nothing there.
