    Hi all,

Old poster here. Just rambling, so don't mind me .

I was looking at my old posts. I'm a 30-something female. There was a time where I thought women were better, because I was struggling with my male partner at the time. I was very frustrated with him. A poster on here thought that I must be a lesbian.

As I got older and have more experience with both genders, I definitely like men more. I have been able to meet open minded men that are okay with my sexual preferences. When I first joined this forum in 2012, I was around very critical people in my offline life. I suppose I felt discouraged by men and thought that I may be happier with women at the time. I was wrong!

    Thanks for reading!

I don't mind what sexual backgrounds people belong to - its the modern world we live in now - not the the old fashioned era.

So what if you change your mind again in five years?

I think "genuinely prefer" is a misnomer.

There's sexual attraction, and romantic/relationship attraction.

I'm bi, but partner a bit more successfully with certain types of men.
That doesn't change what I find attractive.

I like (really like) sex with men, but have found I can only fall in love (tacky, but you know what I mean) with women ..... who I also really like having sex with.

The people around me were pressuring me to choose. I don't care either if people are bisexual or pan sexual.

I have yet to fall in love with a woman. I have only been in love with a man.

I definitely get what you're saying.

Unfortunately, saying I am bisexual alone may not be enough for some people. When I say "I like both genders", that still invites some people to ask "who do you like better? You should know."

I think it's okay to not know, especially when some of us younger bi's didn't have much opportunity or experience. Everyone is on a journey anyway. I am open to the idea that I may have new experiences that change how I feel now.

Exactly that. To me that means that it's not important to "identify" as something or other.
