When it comes too health it is really hard to figure out what to do.
there are over a million health books and if you decide to get one you will find one against it
websites are the same way and documentries

I watched alot of documentaries on netflix and now i feel like i should not eat anything...just kidding
Basicly, I have found out what we eat at the grocerie store and places is killing us
We need to be eating from a garden and drinking water
milk, meat and processed food is bad not nutricious and got junk in it

Yea, but walmarts all i know. I don't have room to make a garden. i think this towns got a produce store.
i tried going vegitarian..boy that was hard..kinda like being on a ant hill trying to avoid ants

I been making green smoothies tho kale and fruits

i been trying to get in the habit of exersizing and mediating trying to
i been trying to quit smoking tabbaco
drink water...oh god water is the most boring thing on the planet

I know sugar, nocotine and caffiene are probally not good

I am trying to get on disability so i am not working so, i got time to try to live healthy.

I was so happy and full of energy as a kid i just want to feel like that again sadly i rarely do.
i dunno why are kids so happy and energized all the time
Don't say your growing old cause i know a dude whose got grey hair and older who used to run where i used to live
    geeze i am only 40

maybe, i should ask him he is a doctor too. he may charge me lol
    So, what are your thoughts

but more on the topic of what you asked about...

i don't eat fast food. it's terrible for you and it's really not that good.

drink water. it's not boring. or maybe it is, but so are you, and drinking a sugary drink isn't gonna make you more interesting :p
drink tea (that you make from tea bags/leaves)

eat fruit and veggies. lean chicken seems like a healthy source of protein. if you do that simple stuff, i bet you are healthier than 80% of america.

You don't want to get on "disability". What you want is to get on "ability". You want to change your mindset. That's what you need to do and you CAN do it.

Meat isnt bad, you'll just want to avoid meat with hormones and processed or smoked meat. Grass fed is healthier than grain fed. It is also good to get in the mindset that you dont need meat with every meal.

It sounds like you dont have access to an organic grocery store. Are there any local farms around that sell their produce and meat directly? If you live in a rural area chances are you can find an organic farm.

If not, eat lots of fruits and veggies anyways.

    Avoid processed food.

Sounds like you have a lot of good ideas!

Eating more fruits and vegetables is a great place to start.
    Limit process foods for sure.
Get at least 30 minutes of exercise per day, even walking, if you don't do that now. If that seems too daunting, start with as close to 30 minutes as you can manage and work your way up. Anything more than what you are currently doing will benefit your mind and body.
Drinking mainly water is ideal, too. If you hate the taste add some lemon or other fruit to the water.
I found giving up meat boosted my energy and mood--I know you mentioned it was hard, but if you want to try it again, let me know, I can give you some pointers on what worked for me.
I don't think caffeine is bad. Maybe other feel differently, but it is a naturally occurring substance that has been consumed with good results for generations. See how it makes you feel.

If you can't work at a job due to illness or injury, try something else to give you purpose--maintaining a garden might be a good way to start. Or perhaps caring for a small pet?

is that your sole reason for wanting to "get on disability," or do you actually have a disability that really means you can't work?

taking care of your dog is not gonna support yourself. people should have enough pride that they want to support themselves.

i been denied and waiting on a lawyer
i dunno i got depression, phychosis and deformed
but. i have worked since 1995
    should i give up now?
i don't like living off my mom and what if i loose everything?
i miss having money too she is threatening to cut off my internet
i think i want to go work again.
i have enjoyed being at homecand gotten into mediation, walking blogging and exersize
but, i think i need work too surely there is away to have all this together.
i need to think about all this and deide i guess. I can't let my mom make all my decisions.
i liked taking care of myself too i am not a bum

Nothing is really unhealthy in and of itself when it comes to food. It's the context in which it's consumed. I think eating whole and unprocessed foods 80% of the time is probably the best way to go. The other 20% of the time, simply eat what you enjoy without paying too much attention to its nutritional content. It's all about being flexible with your diet. Being too stringent can lead to neurosis and disordered eating.

I think as long as people are getting adequate protein and micronutrients from whole and plant based foods, they're doing better off than most in the developed world.

Personally, if I have meat and some kind and green vegetable, I am all set. I am not sure where people get the idea from that all meat is unhealthy. At the same time, moderation is key. Eating pounds of meat everyday probably isn't going to be too healthy, especially on the digestive system.

Occasionally I might have a burger, wings, ice cream, sweets, or something else deemed unhealthy. I simply don't make a regular habit of it.

The best diet is any diet that consists largely of real food while paying attention to your body's caloric requirements. Too much of any food, including that which is deemed healthy, can make you gain fat if consumed in excess of your daily energy needs.

The Walmart superstores usually carry fresh fruit and vegetables. It's probably not the best, though.

actually I will admit to being rather impressed with the produce at the Walmart Local Market stores in my area, but yeah, at the super stores not so much.
I guess when broccoli is sharing shelf space with thongs and motor oil it doesn't get the love and care it should.
