I hate the way clothes marked the same size can differ in actual size.

Hubby bought a pair of size 36 Levi's a few weeks ago. Great fit.

Last night he bought a pair of cargo shorts at wally world in size 36. Those things swallow him whole and have to go back.

    Gripes my ass.

My experience with Walmart clothing was that everything was GIANT, compared to conventional sizing. Not surprising, actually. That may have changed, but I avoid that place now.

But in general, the clothing thing annoys me too, especially with pants! I find tops to be relatively uniform in size, but pants are impossible, all around.

That's interesting. Neither one of us has bought clothing there in so long, but it seems you ought to be able to walk past a rack of 36's and grab something right.

I need to put a tape line on him and see what it says. He's lost so much and then gained some back. I have no idea what his real measurement is.

Okay, it's these Levi's that are off.

    He measures 34 waist.

He's lost 20 sizes from his top weight to this.

Yeah know what you mean I have a 34 waist, 34 inseam but sizes can really vary.

Strange, It only seems to happen when I choose to go cheap and save a few bucks

When I put on so much as even 1 lbs. It feels uncomfortable and I know it immediate

My son is 6'4" and he wears a 32 waist and 34 inseam. I could be mistaken but I don't think he tries on a thing. He just gets whatever and tries it on after he is home. lol

Clothing sizes often grip my ass, especially these "vanity" sizes. I KNOW I'm not a certain size anymore. However, I've discovered I have to try on everything since nothing is sized as it should be, which really throws me off.

Levi's are usually sized small...I've always thought that.

Yeah, 34 is perhaps a fraction too long but it’s better than wearing 32 inch length and repeatedly throughout the day hearing the phrase clam-diggers :D
