Hello beautiful people. Last night I decided to come on here when I couldnt sleep @ my bf's house & I read many (but not all yet) of the replies from my thread from feb. And I wanted to say thank you to everyone. For those that said they had health advice about non-traditional things, I am always open to that stuff. To matt & anyone else that mentioned texting..I do not have anyone's # from here anymore bc that phone was lost & I also do not have same cell #. Im gonna stay logged on here for a little & if someone who wants my # replies, ill post it & delete soon after. Texting is def the best way to get a hold of me..I only go online w phone & I currently all but live two diff places,ok, I do live two diff places-where I used to live & @ zacs house 3-4 nights a week as I look for a place to move. I hope you all are doing well..I didn't mean to make that thread & leave everyone hanging. Sorry! So busy w two kids, casons school, looking to move, serious health issues still..well, two things of good news. One is the surgery went well but it had spread & I had to have another & I still dont feel in the clear by far. Another is I decided to live for me for once-I've cut off anyone to the best of my ability that was making me sick. Anyone who talks to me with disrespect, I dont argue..I dont engage w them at all..that includes my mom & my kid's dad. Sadly I will always hve

Hang in there Trish as we are all rooting for you. I know the process is long and takes a lot of energy to go through.

Keep looking at the kids as they will give you the strength you need to do this!

I am glad you are clearing negative out of your life as it does help with healing to be on the positive.

Always in my thoughts, all of you.

Oops sent before I was done...@ least I didn't lose post tho like I thought I did. I was saying, sadly will always have to deal w my ex bc the kids but I limit that. I am also working on documentation & photos to ensure my kids have whats best for them. I try to limit stress & I no longer have anxiety. And I have found a wonderful guy..I actually am shocked about two things..one, that I managed to find someone who is absolutely amazing to me-hes helped me w so much, my health,my faith in ppl, getting over the past, trusting someone fully..& really, no one wants to hear this but he will hold me for hours & we'll look in each others eyes & I for the first time ever, feel something was meant to be. Hes amazing. :) the other thing I cant believe is that I coulda been this happy all along & wasted so much time. But whatever.:) my kids are great...cason will be starting kindergarten in fall. Ella is 19 months old & a great talker & the sweetest girl ever. Helps w everything. Cason reads at a third grade level & is my little best friend. Ok well, hope to hear from you guys. Im not signing out but gtg bath & ready to get case @ school & pick up zac from work later n go to his (kinda our) house.

    Me Too!!!

There have been any number of times I've wondered how you were, about your surgery...all of that.

It sounds like you are on an upturn.

    Blessed be.

Hi to those of you that replied since I last checked. :) hope you are all well. I am still doing good, considering. New relationship still going. We have actually finally had a cpl disagreements which I guess makes it seem more real really. One thing I noticed was no name calling, personal attacks, aggression during it. Just...stating of facts and feelings...someone says sorry. Lil cool off time (hrs) & then..things intensify in a good way. Ive also noticed my ex is bitter and vengeful & will try to mess w/ my happiness if I let him, but I won't and im not.

Advanced stage cancer can be hard to treat, whatever mode of treatment.

Acupuncture and chinese herbal medicine can be helpful. I'm not sure that reasonably priced, quality treatments are available in your area though.

Qi gong/tai chi/yoga can be good for a lot of conditions, and also dietary changes. From the perspective of chinese medicine though, there are different types of cancers, and a treatment that could cure one cancer could make another worse.

It seems like maybe you've had a lot of unexpressed emotions in your life, and according to chinese medicine, that can be one of the factors that leads to cancer in some cases.

I'll plan to inquire about what treatments might be helpful, but I probably won't be able to get an answer for a couple weeks.

Do you want to say what area of PA you are in?

never heard of this place, but this is what I found

    http://www.muih.edu/health-resources

looks like this is a school with a teaching clinic in baltimore. usually teaching clinics offer pretty good services at low rates.

Trish Newbie brings up a good point in that there are many clinical trials out there also that you should speak to your Oncologist about. It can be a lot to process but they usually also have PSW that can help you sort through the information.

This place has a free acupuncture program for people with cancer. The only catch I just discovered is that you have to be a maryland resident.
