I have no trouble falling asleep,but since hitting menopause(and now post menopause)I always wake up at 3am!!! It doesnt matter what time I go to bed either,still awake at 3am.Someone told me the older you get,the less sleep you need.Thats bullshit! If thats true,then why am I feeling so exhausted most of the time?I can't function on 5-6 hrs of sleep per night.
For some reason my mind won't wind down. I had a glass of wine, 1/2 ambien dissolved under my tongue, another glass of Wien and melatonin. My wife is barely snoring, but it might as well be a lion's roar. I have 2 early meetings, testing a very important and large amount of code on the development system, with a deadline of having it on the production system in 4 days. I'll be half asleep!
