I've done rideshare a few times on Craigslist. I have had to navigate through flakes. I was wondering if anyone has had any success with it here?

Nope. I was looking for paying riders. Yeah....

I'd think there'd be something consistent between SF and LA.
I rode Amtrak, but it's a day. Cheap compared to an air flight.
I got a good amount of presentation work and research done on the train, so if you need hours on a laptop without people bothering you, Amtrak has wifi and the seats are spacious.

I only did that once. It was a VERY long trip; bus to Bakersfield, train to East Bay, bus to San Francisco. I also took a bus from Union Station.
If time is of the essence then flying is the way to go. But I do like to have my car, so I have tried to find passengers. Thanks for sharing.

I can't help but think there has to be a Casual Carpool LA to at least Silicon Valley (and CalTrain to SF).
Not sure how one would find that.
