Chicago Cop Shoots Black Man 16 Times In The Middle Of The Street

...and wasn't arrested until yesterday, more than a year later. The video was released by a judge yesterday, and now there are protests and outrage.

If the cons win the election, jackbooted cops like this will be the norm. Well it is happening in Baltimore, Indianapolis, Boston, New Orleans, and Florida also. But if the cons win next year, it will be standard practice accross the nation. Open season on blacks and pot smokers.

I appreciate the outrage, but Chicago hasn't been run by "cons" in a very long time. It's at least some proof that corruption can and does exist on both sides of the polarized system we have now. This oinker should fry for this. We'll see I guess.

Here's a clue....no gun, it was a knife...and he wasn't threatening anyone...and he was shot SIXTEEN TIMES BY ONE COP! If that's standard, this country is no different than the Nazis.

 

If the cop gets off, there will be another "Chicago fire" that burns down the whole city. I'm surprised Trump hasn't come to the defense of the cop yet. But I just saw that he's expecting endorsement from 100 black churches.

 

The cop has finally been charged with murder. But consider how far the corruption goes that kept a lid on this for a year. The police and the mayor conspired to keep this quiet until after the election. I haven't seen Trump defend anyone yet, it doesn't seem to be his style. It will be interesting to see who gets fired if he is elected. Sure, I know that sounds like a longshot to many, but so was the rookie from Illinois who only served 145 days in congress before deciding to run for the white house. The nation is in a weird state and has been for well over a decade. Nothing will be certain until the last votes are counted in 2016. Unless, of course, candidates are assassinated, Venezuela style.

 

I think when analysed by people that do know what they are talking about, at that distance, under those conditions, you wouldnt be sure it was a knife

And 16 times, if indeed it was 16, why the assumption thats about race or hate, seems to suggest its more likely cop shat his pants

Even if it was just a gun, why 16 times? It seems really excessive. I'm not confused about cops shooting someone who is trying to use a weapon on them though. It seems like people want to protest any time a cop shoots someone whether or not they were doing anything wrong. It's a good thing though. Glad someone is asking questions about it, because who knows... I may be next!

If we're talking about his right hand, it looks to me like maybe it's a knife....maybe it's some shiny key chain or something else. I can't really tell what it is from the video but it clearly isn't a gun...not even a small gun. I don't think he was justified in taking the first shot....much less 16 shots. In a different era, you could say "Dead men don't talk" and you would make sure the other guy is dead so only your version of events could be told (or so I was told back then). But we aren't in that era anymore and it's crazy to assume that something like this wouldn't be on tape. You simply can't justify that many shots and if this would have been a regular citizen shooting someone under the same circumstances....I think they would have been charged a lot faster.

 

It kinda looked like an extra shot was fired at the end when he was clearly on the ground dying. I don't know anything about this particular story. Multiple shots might be more understandable if the suspect was charging at the cop at close range and a lot of the shots might be misses. I heard a story (different story than this) about the police deleting some camera footage and then claiming the camera malfunctioned leaving a big gap in footage around the time where the shooing/murder occurred, how convenient (tampering with evidence is a serious crime). The suspect himself seemed like he may have been on drugs, or mentally unstable. I never saw him make any type of move that suggested he was about to open fire on police, or anything like that, if anything to me it looked like he was maybe thinking about if he could maybe run from these cops and didn't know which direction to run in. I suspect a tazer would have done the job just fine though, I doubt anyone is going to be able to get a shot off with any type of accuracy while being tazed even if they did have a gun in their hand. I don't know much about this story though.
