    Hello,

    sometimes when I'm in the woods I just get a piece of wood and start carving with my knife. Usually I end with just a pile of wood chips ;).

    I own a bit of land in East Texas and I go out to it regularly to cut down trees with an axe just for fun. I like to camp and have bonfires.

    i once had a neighbor who would do nothing but run his saw all day every single saturday for 2 years
    he either really like cutting wood or had a bad home life

    Maybe... maybe not. A full 3 cords of firewood keeps my place above freezing. Not sure I would consider that "hot"
