When I had Spotify, they did not have the Beatles LPs so me and probably God knows how many others made playlists of Beatles covers. I even made playlists of covers of the LPs! Ever heard Bobbie Gentry's cover of "Fool On A Hill"?

I like some covers.. if they are better than the original.. if not... I wanna slap 'em for even trying. Like.. any cover of Pretty Woman other than KD Lang's version... just no. stoppit. You can't hit those notes and stop trying. I love all the Playing For Change vids. 'Jolene' was always one of my two Parton favs. She did a cover of 'Knocking on Heaven's Door' and 'Peace Train' with Ladysmith Black Mambazo that was better than the originals. I like most anything Ladysmith ever did, though.
