18+ I think. Depends on the mods mood at the time.

I think that is the required age for joining any site. But that doesn't stop a 10 yr old accessing Facebook or this site for that matter. You can tell the younger folks with all the acronyms.

That's a bit presumptuous... This site in general doesn't seem to go overboard with the acronyms, but some of the ones that are used, have been around for awhile and I've seen some older heads take to using acronyms as well.

I guess the age range is about 16 to 60's or 70's. Not sure what the percentages are though, probably varies w/ the forum.

It was more of a jab at the younger generational laziness then an overall gripe at this site and any others. Tongue in cheek. I can read and can see it is not a big issue on this site.

Time to start an age poll.

I would if I knew how.

Maybe I will ask my 6 yr old son how to put up a poll on a website :D

Me, I am 41. Wow, it looks worse when you write it then how it sounds. :D

I dunno. ;) not gonna say much but I've watched y'all turn your backs on folk younger. Possibly not the "mood". Maybe the mod. ;)

very welcome of course, but whatever made you think that. some of us are old enough (in our 60s and possibly beyond) to BE the original hippies. a small percentage to be sure. as time goes by it gets smaller of course, as younger people get curious and join in, but those who were here 20 or even more years ago, mostly still are. and yes, that includes several handfuls of the original boomer generation, born in the 1940s and 50s.

Like they said, "don't trust anyone over thirty".

Don't trust anyone over thirty, and under thirty.

    Even better.
