This was just like the episode of the IT crowd where moss sets fire to the office with a soldering iron. "I'll just put this over here with the rest of the fire."

Always remember to put fires out with cardboard boxes... They obviously don't burn.

Is he alright? That's very unfortunate for that to happen.

It sounds like someone did die in the fire. I can't find a proper source yet though. If it's true that takes a bit of the hilarity out of it. I still can't help but laugh when he picks up the bag of fire and places it amongst the cardboard boxes! Why not carry it to the sink?

It says here that no one died or was severely injured

"The scenes - viewed more than 233,000 times on YouTube - feature a man reportedly called 'Ushiro' who lives in Shikoku, Japan.
It is not believed that the streamer or anyone else was harmed in the footage, with one poster describing the incident in several replies as 'minor'."

On the bright side he's going to have a lot more people watching his stream from now on.

I am glad to hear no one was injured. There was a moment where he left the room for about 30+ seconds, only to return with a small pot of water. If he would have just smothered it instead of leaving, it might not have gotten out of control. Then again I should not talk, if this was me I probably would have panicked and made this situation a lot worse.

I keep a couple of fire extinguishers around just in case, but if I ever did anything that stupid I would hope I’d have the courage to shoot myself.

OP, you start a thread like this, because the guy is Asian??

And people from other races never get into fire accidents, burn their houses down or worse, shoot up a bunch of people in a school??

Your motivation to pick the title to this thread sounds blatantly racist to me.

Whatever happened to 'love' and 'peace', 'we are one', eh, hippies?...... just saying.

actually, you can argue that this site does follow "love, peace, and we are one," because all people are allowed to come together and post here, without some silly restriction that you must be a hippie to do so.

and what's up with the title change? mods make a big deal about how they won't delete someone's posts because the person regrets what they posted, yet changing poorly thought-out titles is apparently no problem.
