I had a great time. I looked at the forests and saw the trees growing taller and the leaves were devouring all man-made structures in sight. Nature was taking back what was taken from her! I looked at tie-dye sheets and saw the forms undergo metamorphosis. The most intense hallucinations were seeing people turn into magazine cut-outs. I felt great!

I'm now worried that I could have caused some potential long term damage to my mind. I didn't need to take that much, but the reason I did was because this acid was taking over an hour to take effect. I thought it could have been nullified by sunlight or excessive heat (as I've had that happen before).

Is it possible I could have done some long term damage?

    Doubt it...

I mean, yeah, that can happen. But your post here is very "together", so I'm thinking you'll be fine.

I doubt you did any permanent damage. A trip like that takes some recovery time though.

It might be. I would refrain from doing acid for a while.

From a sober perspective, It doesn't sound like you took an excessively high dose in objectively quantifiable terms, although I'm sure that was a pretty heavy trip. You are probably just a bit 'fried' temporarily, Acid can be mentally taxing and it may take you a couple days to gather your bearings and integrate the trip. That's great you had a good trip though! :)

Yeah I don't plan on taking acid again for the rest of this year. I'd like to take it again sometime, but not for a while. When I told people about how much I took, their jaws hit the floor in astonishment. It's been a few weeks since my trip. I sure felt "Fried" for a day or so after. I guess it's too early to tell if I'm facing any permanent damage to my neuro-receptors and dendrites.

LSD is very safe. Any "damage" usualy comes from a rough trip but that is all mental. It is true some people who are predisposed to mental illness can have that aggravated by LSD use. But don't worry there was no physical damage to your brain.

But if you did not get LSD and perhaps NBOME you could have some health risks doing that.

What happens is, you begin to see through the plastic vernier of society at large...the programming of societal rituals such as material possession, consumerism, all the advertising you ever been exposed to with messages linking clothing, cars, real estate, beer, etc to social strata, gender definition, individual self-worth. All the emphasis on success or failure, competition, profit, not to mention the deep subconscious shit your parents and others imprinted in your mind before you were even aware of it... all these things, and you realize you really have no desire to participate in any of that, then you are truly, and by definition, maligned. Socially and culturally maligned from the greater population. It can be very liberating but not without it's drawbacks to say the least.

You can't fight the current but if you stay calm you might be able to swim to the side once in a while, lol
