The Three Ages of Man after Titian's Painting 1512 - 1514 This was a painting I saw at the Bass Museum on Miami Beach some years ago and got a pic with a film camera. I really found the placement of those flutes to be very suggestive. I sometimes wonder about these things - did Titian realize this, did he do it on purpose leaving a hidden erotic message in his painting? Do they point these things out in Art History? Like Michelangelo using one of his goy boy toys to represent his sculpture of David?
