Noted conspiracy author Nick Redfern discuses his research on the Men In Black. They have been popularized by Hollywood but the real Men in Black seem to be much more sinister then the comedy Will Smith makes them out to be. I think the movie was made on purpose to discredit the real group. Now any discussion of it will be met with "you just saw that in a movie it is not real".

But what is true is they often come when you have seen something you should not have. Although this is not always the case and there seems to be a few types of Men In Black. Perhaps one group purposely imitates the other to deceive you.I have been very interested in them for years and I have come to many of the same conclusions Mr. Redfern does about some of them being not entirely human maybe extra-dimensional if you will. If you have 90 minutes it's a good listen.

skip to 4:20 to get past the intro.

I remember reading stories about them as a child so I knew what it was about before the Will Smith movies. They've been about for some time now and I remember once you report seeing something odd they're very quick to come knocking. And I remember usually one of the two men is the speaker while the other is quite mute and silent and he's not meant to give off a human impression at all. I think he's described more like one of the grey aliens with small mouth and eyes hidden behind sunglass tint.

Could that be why I can't remember anything that happened before today? I thought it was because I smoked too much weed. ;)

I've already accepted that I could be watched. I have not stumbled onto any ground breaking information though so I figure I am just one of many and not really that important.

mr a, mr b, and jimi. the a and be were speculated to be alenday and bender. this was in the 1950s. as with the silly movie, but not so silly, people who supposedly saw ufo's were later visited by these three. they were called 'in black' in as much as they wore the standard f.b.i. 'uniform', i.e. a conservative black suit, white shirt and tie. i remember reading the minority critique of blue book, "back when".

the x-files series was of course likewise based on the same inspiration.

well you know, no one wants someone telling everyone what they've been working on. even some people working on innocuous things, would rather not show their works in progress, authors and movie and game makers don't like people passing around 'spoilers' before their products are ready for release. militaries of course have unlimited budgets to suppress this sort of thing.

given a project of high enough priority with incentive enough to keep it under wraps, its no unreasonable to assume, a certain investment in discouraging civilians from revealing details of of such developments might well exist.
conspiracy? well not exactly as such, but certainly agencies exist which have an interest in such things. in the u.s., in other countries, and so on.

sinister? well yes and no. certainly not unusual nor unreasonable if you think about it. the use of unlimited means of course, pushes the envilope of the whole concept of constitutionality, and constitutes a slippery slope.
so there's a balancing act involved, but secricy, and the wanting to keep secrets, doesn't dissapear with a need to keep up the appearances of democracy and freedom.

is there really an x-files division of the f.b.i.? i don't know, its not impossible. does the air force have its own, division like that within its military, they call them special, police force? i'd be more surprised if they didn't.

actually i know the air force security police had (i'm sure they must still have) their own investigations division, because when i was being vetted for my secret clearance 40 years ago, they came around and asked my parents a bunch of questions. all perfectly reasonable and understandable.

the options available to me at the time, i probably could have chosen a career path in which i could have become one of those "men in black" myself. i didn't for various reasons, but at that time, it may well have been open to me.

now the little magic light that makes people forget stuff, i'm sure a lot of governments which they had that. including a lot of politicians, who abuse secrecy to hide their mistakes.
