Do people think its weird to have sex during that time of the month, not sure how I feel about it cos I like the feeling but at the same time its a little awkward my other half says he doesn't mind it. Is it normal how do you people feel about it, would like it from both point of view?

I don't have any issues with it, but I'm not down with oral that time of month. Mine only comes once every three months though, so it's not like it's a constant inconvenience. Plus, there's lots of other ways to get off and be intimate that don't involve the vagina.
It is great for the relief of any cramping and after an orgasm the headache goes away. I would get hormonal headaches for the first two days of my cycle. Just a bodily function that is easily cleaned up.
For us sex was still expected,with an occasional veto allowed (usually flow issues, with alternatives always offered), but afterglow etiquette was suspended, ie jumping in the shower immediately after would not be frowned upon. Talk.

Forget the side issues (mainly to do with menstrual secretions) - the major thing is how are we feeling during that time. Some women say they are as horny as heck. Others can't stand the thought of being touched. Everyone is different, let the woman be the barometer. And as far as those secretions go - the old saying ... First day is usually light flow, so no issues there, second to fourth days, way too heavy, have tried it in the past when we were both young & eager, certainly made for a slippery encounter, but the mess could get tedious.
