Hmmm... Interesting. As the article mentions it's all theoretical but I don't fully understand the concept. From what I gather, the only way it makes sense to me of working is having it set up as like an arpeggiator type device and basically just set some paraneters and let the device run and then you'd be more or less of a sound engineer for it.. It seems like it would strip away the musicianship if the performer plays and it responds somewhat with an unbeknownest somewhat random note, based on the probabilities allowing for different note potentials.
