This thread is for posting up images of interesting places around the world (preferably places you've been).

The trick is, you don't tell us where it is, and we have to guess!

It shouldn't be too obvious, so don't post pics everyone recognizes.

But do give a clue in the pic!

    Here's a slightly different challenge.
This requires you to say where it is and WHAT it is... :)

what which is? a pea hen in someone's back yard from the looks of it. plants are very nice that they are plants. there's one of those lightweight tubular metal cot-fraim things to sit or lay on, under a bamboo pole shelter.

where might be anywhere someone might be able to build such things. also some kind of plastic play structure behind that.

i know someone who lived at cape horn california, just above colfax. he was a retired road forman of engines for the railroad. he had a bunch of pea foul in his back yard. they shat all over everything.

Could be a garden in a lot of places but I'll go with Australia as well. If the bird is in it's native land I suppose that is a good hint, but I don't know what kind of bird it is!

    I've been here:

Hummm. I'd say Germany, too neat and clean to be France. ;)

Might be near the border of France & Germany based upon architecture.

Skip's is in San Francisco, Coit Tower. I figured it out because I thought the dude looked like Columbus, so I searched Columbus statue images on Google. (Not an image recognition engine so I think that's legal!)

I thought the mountain was Ayers Rock in Australia...but it looks like I'm wrong.

    No idea about the houses.

    Here's a place I've been:

It's less north than you might think.

Haha that's a well educated guess :p You got the country right. I think the city is guessable too (you certainly know this city!), but maybe wait until some more people took a try? Gyro could know it.
