Lots of them, including the first woman record producer. She worked with RCA records and was closely associated with Elvis.

 

my grandma is 93, i think. something around there anyway.

there's a couple people i sort of know from work that are right around 90 too.

 

Let's see....That would be my mom's last surviving sibling who will be 87 in June.

 

my grandfather, 91.

 

my grandpa was 96 when he died last year

 

My mother is 93 and my gf's mother is 94.

 

My great grandmother lived to be 103. In her life which began in the 1870's, she had seen us go from horse drawn to man on the moon.

 

The pediatrician that I went to lived to be 114 years old.

She was a ground-breaker as far as females in her field are concerned.

 

well since i don't really know anyone personally other then myself, i guess that would have to be me. the few people i currently know to any degree are mostly around half my age. (mostly 20s and 30s)

my mom was 91 when she passed, my dad was only 70 or 71. my wife was only 59. when i was younger everyone, well not everyone, but a majority, of the people i knew, were older them me.

most of the people who knew more about what i was interested in were. now most of those who do are younger, often so much younger i wonder how they do it.

anyway, all the old guys my dad knew on the railroad, and all the ones i knew from railfanning and model railroading, i've either lost touch with or they've died off.

not that most of them i ever knew all that well. the people who were my own age from the 70s and 80s, i've not kept contact with either.

truth is, i'm not much of a one for keeping contact with anyone. i just find more interest in exploring places and things.

my mom was all about keeping in touch by snail male with her relatives and my dad was hyper gregarious and kind of knew and was known by everyone on the railroad, and in a lot of other places, that he met as a result.

they were always the ones who knew people, so for me, it was never really something i felt compelled toward.

i have interests and i meet people who share them, but that's about it.

right now, just about everyone that i know of, that i see in real life more or less often, is with the furry.

there's not much going on where i live, with the other things i'm interested in.

Yep, still my aunt. She turned 87 in June.

 

My mother is 95 and will be 96 12/21 this year.

Her mother lived to be 101.

Well...the women are as mean as hell, and must always have their way...maybe that has something to do with longevity? lol If so, I doubt I'll live as long as them.

since i don't really know anyone personally very well any more, well i probably 'know', in the sense of seeing and saying hi to once in a while, people who may be my own age, or even considerably older, but also any more, its hard to know by looking how old anyone is, if the look old enough to look old, well i don't really know. i just have to assume there are people older then myself, some of whom i see once in a while, even fairly often. but among most of the people i've met, i was going to say other then on line, but even there, MOST of the people i'm anywhere near to 'knowing, especially in the world outside my door, where i live, are enough younger then myself, to be my children or grandchildren, if i had ever had any of my own, which, as far as i know, i haven't.

so i guess i would have to say, the oldest person i "know", with any degree of certainty, (other then some of you on line), would have to be, myself.
(and yes, its not like 67, any more is THAT old, these days. i'm sure i see people much older on the bus, all the time. and some in politics and the media still going strong, and maybe even, there are a few who are furry artists too.)

the hardest part of the question, is that i KNOW, since, really, i'm not very social, my interests are not that much in individual persons, i can't really claim anymore, to KNOW anyone, very well. not even well enough to be certain of their age.

 

I think the oldest people I know are relatives of mine, two in particular that stand out are my great aunt and another who is more distantly related.
