Hello, remember when I got stranded due to a public transportation strike in this area: Now, the wolves are back in that area. They got exterminated in the 19th century. Recently an automated camera snapped pictures of the guys. It seems like they have found their new home in that area. That's great news. Some people scare their arses off . Regards Gyro
I think i remember this, the workers were on strike for awhile and you ended up not being able to get a ride out so you were stranded. Crazy story for sure
Great that they are back as it means nature is restoring balance in the area. Nice that they are able to be there and hopefully people will leave them be.
Hello, hunters like to shoot them, partly because of the trophy and partly because wolves like to eat deer and other wildlive. I'm not a hunting expert, but AFAIK it's against the law in this country to shoot wolves. I've heard hunters often come up with the excuse that they mistook the wolf with a huntig stray dog, which they are allowed to shoot. But wolves are so rare, even hunters don't see them very often. Regards Gyro
I think they come in from the Italian alps. Once a year I'm able to track a wolf and we know they are around but not often seen. I know the Italian forests have wolves.
Hello, yepp, that or they migrate from Eastern Europe. A few more years and they pay a visit to Asmo . Regards Gyro
Hello, now the first stories of people seeing wolves everywhere in the city centre appear in the newspapers . One of the sighted 'wolves' turned out as a 'Tschechoslowakischer Wolfshund', a dog breed that looks a bit like a wolf. The owner of the dog wrote a letter to the newspaper, saying that the 'wolf' is laying on his sofa and that he is cute and playful . Regards Lupo
