    Despite the sea change fat has seen in recent years, to this day the mainstream medical establishment likes to demonize healthy, life-sustaining saturated fats from whole food sources like coconut oil, heavy cream and real butter, while promoting omega-6 laden vegetable oils (corn, soybean, safflower, etc.) as "heart healthy." Could it be because of the link between big pharma and the food industry, which churns out poison presented as "healthy," when it fact it's loaded will all kinds of garbage that has been proven to make people sick and keep them in a chronically inflamed state? One of the biggest threats to people's health, next to sugar and wheat, is omega-6 laden vegetable oils, which set the body up for all kinds of problems down the road. The ratio of omega 6 to 3 that humans evolved on is approximately 1, whereas with western diets that ratio is 15:1 or higher. The biggest source of these inflammatory fats are processed foods containing vegetable oils like corn and soybean. It's fats like these, as well as trans fats, that create inflammation in the body and lead to things like cancer, diabetes and heart disease.
