    Anyone want to play?
This forum may be too dead to keep this going, but I'll give it a shot anyways...

In principle you could play chess right on the forums. I don't know if the mods would have any objection to a game thread getting bumped every 30 seconds or so.

My guess is that as long as only one game was going on at a time, it wouldn't be a problem.

I don't like playing on chess sites. Analog is best :p Although a slow game by posting your next move on a chess thread sounds not too bad. At least you know in advance it will be a slow game then :)

Get one of those old but competent chess programs like a later Chessmaster or especially Fritz. I still have Fritz 9 and it runs on Vista and Windows 7. I have no information about Windows 8 or Windows 10.

I use Chess Titans which came with Windows. On Win10 you have to download it with the old win7 game package as they eliminated it.

On my phone I use some other program...forget what it is.

I like both of them cause I can undo my moves, thus I always win!

Years ago I used Battle Chess on the Amiga, that was cool. Also Chinese Battle Chess.
