I don't know which bothers me more, the magnitude of the cyber attack on Sony, or the fact that Sony has given up and given them absolute victory.

What's going to happen the next time an enemy country tells a major corporation that Americans can't talk about a specific subject or make jokes about it? Is this the start of a new era of world-wide censorship?

Sony being hacked could have been done by anyone so shame on them for having lapse internet security. But boycott Sony for giving into N.Korea and delaying the movie. What a bunch of pussies at Sony. N.Korea would not attack America or S.Korea because they know they would be wiped off the face of the earth.

More bullshit that fuels the cry for tighter controls on the internet. Just what the system wants.

I believe it's the theatres that don't want to screen the movie.

I just heard that an American free speech group is going to make pirate copies of that movie and send them into North Korea using helium balloons! I love it!

I wish I had caught that guy's name this morning. He was being interviewed on a news show while I was getting ready for work. He said his group has already used balloons to send into North Korea thousands of flash drives with an easy to install web browser and the complete contents of Wikipedia. They have done the same with DVD's of various movies and news documentaries, selected to give the NK people a broad overview of the outside world.

Official NK propaganda says that it is the greatest nation on earth, has the greatest leader on earth, and its people have the highest quality of life anywhere. The government can stay in power only until a significant percentage of its people find out what the rest of the world is really like.

Bullshit. Sony is a globalist, multinational corporation, like all major corporations. It's all about money at the top, and money knows no nationalities.

And who are the top shareholders? Are they all Japanese, too? The CEO and CFO are merely managers of corporations -- not owners.

Not exactly sure at this point exactly when or how anybody (outside of NK) is going to be able to see it. Theaters don't want it. Mall owners don't want it in theaters. Netflix doesn't want to fuck with NK.

Is Sony's security that bad, or are the hackers that good? I think that question has a lot of people worried.
