He's not exactly in the news these days, but I have a question....

What went wrong with this guy? Let's assume for now that everyone was born good. I cannot even imagine.

A guy who got fed up with how his country was run. I personally, not admire.. but respect him a lot. Everyone else, especially folk on this site, whinge and complain, bitch and moan all day and do nothing about it. Hitler did something about what concerned him the most. That heralds respect in my eyes. Right or wrong, he stepped up, manned up, tried to make something of himself, his nation.. his people.

Okay sure it was an impressive feat to take control and militarize his state into the best fighting the force the world had yet seen and to take over nearly an entire continent.

But to the point of extermination millions of people? Something must have been sick in his brain.

But what went wrong in his childhood? Seriously? Even if his uncle molested him every day, that doesn't make someone do all that.

Something that is funny to me is that "white supremacists" have swastika tattoos and like Hitler.

If they really knew their history, they would hate him.

Prior to World War II, the entire world was divided into European colonies. After the war, Europe was so decimated that it had to let it's colonies be free.

Anyone who likes Hitler is wrong.

Sure, you can respect him as a capable military leader, just like you would respect Napoleon.

But if you like his ideologies and can look at pictures of concentration camps and not think that is bad, then there is something wrong with that.

I think this post I just made is about the most obvious thing anyone has ever said.

Do you wish that Germany won the war?

Always an interesting question. Please disregard iamnotaman, he clearly doesn't understand what I try and say.

If we won the war I think there would be good and bad sides to it.

On the good side I think we'd have a great environment for the future, technology, medicine etc.
On the bad side foreign culture probably wouldn't exist as it does today and I am a very culturally influenced individual. Of course, my lifestyle would come into question too, unless 70 years later same sex gets the all clear lol. But then again without the war, my parents may have never met and I might not have been born. Imagine that. Me. Not here. Mind trip.

Respect him FOR WHAT exactly? I don't even like to think about him.

I read history books, and when it comes to that chapter, I'm like..... pass..... I've read it all before.

I mean.... maybe you could respect Bismarck and Kaiser Wilhelm... they were not psychos like Hitler was.

Well first of all.... they never really had a chance of winning the war in the first place, unless they would have developed their technology ahead of time.

If they would have invented a nuclear bomb for instance, or killed the British at Dunkirk.

There were a lot of things they could have done, but they were nowhere near winning the war.

    Do you agree?

Another thing that I find interesting is the historic rivalry between the Germans and the French. They are basically the same thing! The genetic difference between a French person and a German one is pretty negligible!

Some nuclear warheads strapped to some V-2's.... that might have done it.

I respect him for this, like I said in my first post..

He had a vision, and he attempted to make it a reality.
98% of people in the world would rather sit and complain instead of trying to make a difference.
I won't respect anybody who complains year after year but does nothing about it, but I can respect someone for doing the opposite. Whether right or wrong like I said, that doesn't come into question for me.

That's it. That's all I respect. A man who had a goal and tried to accomplish it. Mass murderer or not, is better in my eyes than a complainer.

Hitler hole life was about destroy those who had rejected him. this can be traced back to one event in his life. in which it would go on to creat most of his policy and ideologyies. i dont like what he did a despise what he represents. but he had a unique power to move peoples minds and hearts. he did it for evil but he had an amazing mind.

Not much different than any other homicidal maniac. There are many still around and regretfully they are tolerated in some cases.

Nuclear weapons, we had that idea, but Hitler also knew that he couldn't afford to wait for years of development to get it off the ground so it was scrapped and literally drowned. War needed to be won quickly, Blitzkrieg style. It was really around 42 that the German army started to lose and that was all Eastern Front cause, Hitler always said "We can't afford to have another 2 front war, so he goes and makes a 4 front war instead lol. So that was a mistake. I think we're all aware that the Russian campaign just took longer than originally desired, hence sending the troops into the harsh winter with no winter gear, they were supposed to be out by then.

I can't agree we had no real chance of winning in the first place.

I guess the one thing I never understood with the Axis ally-ship was with Japan being so close to Russia, why weren't they used for concussion bombings all over Russia? Instead they started some dickie war on America. If I was Hitler I would have been like nope, you help us in Russia, we control Europe.. then you go do what you want.

The scare tactics of some people are truly revolting and almost offensive in terms of how stupid they are.

    The common references are:

    Jews killed his mother
Jews rejected him from art school
    Fathers job dismissed by Jews
Jews dissected one of his testicles.

Well it was all in Holland for a long time, and until not long ago, as I recall.
Because that was the most appropriate place for it.

America has its own particular issues and regulations for hosting hippy sites, but thats a different topic.

Regardless of that, the poster is based in Germany. Laws are pretty clear in Germany and pan-EU.
As are some of the other issues.

Anyway, I'm out of this thread for now. Rather a stench emanating from somewhere...
