Changes To Site Menu Bar

    I just made a few changes to the site's menu bar to make navigating the site a bit easier.

    First there's "New Posts" which shows the latest forum postings.

    Then the User Navigation and Notifications icons as well as the login/logout have been moved to the left of the top menu.

    The Site Navigation icon was moved from the far right to the far left. This is sorta what it looks like: [​IMG]

    This should make it easier for people to find these important tools, esp. newbies who don't know what the icons mean.

    OK, it's not me....
    was just on like an hour ago, log off, back on and it all moved!!!! :dizzy2:

    what a relief, I thought I was gonna have to take a break from the herb for a while or something....

    "new posts" seems exactly like "view new content" to me. but if it helps people, i have no problem with it.

    Not exactly. New content shows what's new relative to the section of the site you're in atm.

    New posts shows exactly that, no matter where you are on the site.

    So, we're linked to facebook now.

    I clicked the "facebook like" icon here just to see what it was. Then I had to go to my facebook page and delete the post that Hip Forums made saying I liked it and that it's all about "Sex, Drugs, and Rock 'n Roll".

    I really don't like that at all.

    I didn't see an announcement explaining it either.

    Did I miss something?

    I thought Skip was gonna keep the site away from facebook...... HE ASKED US LAST YEAR ABOUT IT AND PPL SAID THEY DIDNT WANT THAT INTRUSIVE CRAP HERE....... Then he even said HE DOESNT LIKE FACEBOOK...

    Why has he given in?????? (Im not trying to make Skip mad,I just wanna know)
