Yo waddup guys. I'm at a depressed state right now because I don't know how to be more manly. I'm 20 years and was raised by my mother, pops left when I was 8. I love women. I love their fat asses, average asses, big melons, average melons but I feel like most people think I'm gay for some reason. Maybe its cause I like to dress "fly" 24/7. I'm always clean. And I'm always polite and nice (urghhh!!!)

I started to think about this when one night I was smoking marijuana with a couple of old highschool "friends" and one of em thought it was funny to call me gay. I just ignored his bitch ass but it really pissed me off.

So can any of you dudes give me some advice how to more manly over all? I'm tired of being a virgin, this shit is crazy. I had a girl once, made out, messed around in bed but never actual intercourse. HELP ME OUT GUYS, I AM ONE IN THE PACK, DONT LEAVE ME OUT LOL!

Start lifting and working out. It doesn't mean become some bulked-up muscle head, but enough to put on some mass and look slightly intimidating. Then let someone call you a fag.

Or just learn to be comfortable in your own skin.

Appreciate the response, I'm actually working on some body weight workouts. The gym is a bit depressing for a twig like me :/

Body weight is gay. Gotta pump iron. Intimidating, I know, but there's no other way out for the manly. Build a home gym if you have to, and then you'll really get some manly man points.

Fuck anyone that is judging you by your perceived 'masculinity'. True masculinity is being comfortable in who you are.
No amount of muscles or clothes will make you as confident as being comfortable with yourself.

In other words, man up, sissy boy. You sound like a pushover if you're letting your 'friend' talk shit to your face without checking him on it. Either get new friends or make this guy your bitch.

Body weight is the shit - no tools or trouble required.

If you want to lift weights, I'd think you'll have to endure the gym, unless you want to shell out - they're crazy expensive for what they are. In my experience, even though I don't really like gym environments, most people there are actually encouraging, and you won't get any shit for not being built, you have to start somewhere, you might even get tips.

I mean, unless you give the vibe of cruising the dudes at the gym, then you might need to be very careful about your gym selection.

Drink beer and fix cars - bitches love it when you fix their cars while simultaneously practicing escapist alcoholism and ignoring them.

I'm leaning towards a BW routine and seeing how it goes for about a month or two (Just bought this book by Mark Lauren, claims you can gain all the mass you need with body weight) Thanks for all the responses....except for Jo King -___-, come on bro.

Body weight exercises are good if you're skinny and want to build some mass. Actually, it's preferred that you start off this way before taking up weights. Few things are better than pushups and pullups/chinups.

Gyms are mostly unnecessary. All you really need is a bar and some weights, and maybe a few kettlebells and some dumbbells. I use the gym mostly to do leg presses and squats. Everything else I can do at home without having to look at a bunch of douche bags.

    Best advice of the thread..

Lots of facial hair, ungroomed, a tshirt with bits of last nights pizza stuck to it, try be drunk most of the time, get angry to try solve all problems, and never use deodorant, treat women like doormats. No one will think you are gay, and you'll have an over clingy girlfriend with daddy issues in no time

And BTW, Johnny Testicles, probably what the friend wanted. Both off your face, no one else around, implies you are gay with a little nervous giggle, no one else is going to find out, turn the lights down low....... ;)

You can make looking gay work for you.
When I was about your age, I'd date a woman and on the first date, be a perfect gentleman not try to kiss her or nothing.
On the second date, she'd be very open to my showing that I wasn't gay.

You seem to confuse masculinity with virginity.

Physical labour seems more masculine than pumping iron for idle reasons only any day.

edit: and it seems also intimidating for a lot of men :D

obviously times have changed. there would be no second date now if you did that on the first.

    He's not confused.
There's obviously a high correlation between masculinity and the loss of virginity.
It's integral to the very idea of masculinity.
Well probably not by your libtard standards, but certainly by any grounded perspective.

The correlation between those 2 doesn't change that they're still two different things. You think he will appear as a masculine man after he had his first one night stand or visited a prostitute for example?
