   What does anyone think of this? I would say that exposing maladministration in the police force would have been a factor.By now any such police would be retired by now and their pensions unaffected.

   Sometimes there just isn't enough evidence to close a case. If you read the article, new evidence had surfaced.

   The mother somehow supposedly knew who did the bombing, so its not like it wasnt underbelly type stuff.
   
   Still, is all a bit suss, police at the time, a lot easier to pay some off that it is nowadays
