Rough Calloused Hands Causing Masturbation Problems

One of my manly traits is that my hands have become pretty rough and calloused from working, I guess. For about a year now I have been getting irritation on my penis and I'm wondering if this could be the cause. Sometimes there is a little bit of dead skin flakes like scabs, but usually it just looks like kinda red spots. The stay in the same spots and just don't go away. I trued using daily lotion on it for a while but it seemed to have no effect. Masturbation is the only explanation I can think of but its not like I masturbate any more often than most guys, I think. I would of thought it would have gone away by now as I'm sure there has been times where I didn't masturbate for a while. Or maybe from tight underwear or pants? Doesn't seem very likely though.

Any one ever had anything like this happen to them?

I am pretty sure it is not a yeast infection. It's not painful or gross and my girlfriend has never mentioned having one. It has been like this for a bout a year too. I have a physical in a couple weeks I guess I'll just have to ask then :/
