where you keep your ketchup? some people keep it out on the counter and others in the fridge ... Its just a habit to put it in the fridge here. I like the coolness on a hot-hotdog .. if you think of other condiments you keep in or out.. speak up.
the fridge is normal.....i'm normal for the most part i know restaurants never put it in the fridge....stays on the table all the time
I keep my ketchup in the fridge for hot dogs or scrambled eggs. The only condiments that don't go in my fridge are salt, pepper, sugar, spices, and pancake syrup.
Me, too, Justin....although, I don't seem to use catsup too much....maybe for a fried egg sandwhich or scrambled eggs...i seem to use more mustard and hot sauces these days. I like Delmonte catsup, but it is not easy to find here anymore.
I dont like the places with the plastic bottles on the table. but glass its ok. ever get the giant glass bottle of ketchup?
No, but when I used to have to shop for my mom every 3 months, she would ask for 8 bottles of Delmonte catsup....and then 3 months later....and etc.......8 more. I was baffled always...as I had not even gone through one bottle in that time frame....
My grandma used to have those glass bottles of Heinz (I think it was) and I don't think she kept it in the fridge. You had to be very careful on how hard you pounded on the bottom of the bottle to get some ketchup out, lol.
and you can't squeeze what is left out of glass bottles.... My mom would leave a glass catsup bottle standing on its top for an hour or so, and that is how she would empty it....pretty smart......
I heard there's a meteor shower coming. Better bring those tomato plants inside, or you will have some ketchup all over the place.
Of course, squeezing those plastic bottles doesn't work very well, either.....might as well turn them upside down, too....lol
i find it comes out better upside down. only when the bottle is 100% full will it come out rightside up, and then it still makes a mess!@!
