I have always had premonitions about deaths. Before death occurs..very soon before. My family...people i know and people i dont know. I also have premonitions about all sorts of things. I am learning to listen very carefully cuz i wont know im having a premonition. They happen in dreams but also ill just think something..fully awake. I will also have premonitions many years before event takes place. Who else here hears a voice telling u what will happen? Mine is a man speaking to me. Is he my guide?
theres a couple of things to consider. first you have to consider the fact that you may be suffering from a psychological dissorder because hearing voices is very comon with people who have some sort of mental problem. do psychological dissorders run in your family? have you seen a professional about this? how long has this been happening? if you are making contact with the spirit realm, then you also have to question weather this voice is a friendly spirit or a bad spirit. have you ever tried making direct contact with the voice?
Never a voice. Always dreams with me. Can't say, in your case. I think it's all a manifestation of the same thing, expressing itself differently according to different people's perspectives

No ive read all about stuff like that..i dont hear voices like that. I hear one mans voice when i am being shown the future in a dream ...or awake its same mans voice. I always thought he was my guardian angel or guide or something like that. I did meet him in a dream before. I know this sounds crazy and i am stone sober everyday. When i met him in dream he was very kind older man and i sensed it was kind of his job to help me..watch over me..etc. he told me he was always with me. I always thought he was my guardian angel. He is always kind not evil. Its as if he protects me. He has given me warnings to help me..but i dont always listen. Ive always heard him since i can remember as a kid. Examples of warnings..ill hear him say..dont leave the house!! Stay home!! I dont listen and i go out..i get mugged..robbed on the street. Stuff like that. To help me. I only hear his voice when i am given a warning...or another piece of information. Thats it. I never tell anyone this stuff cuz i dont want people to think im crazy or ridicule me.
the mind can be so theatrical - when in doubt of an actor's voice giving good information it's helpful to have an oracle device handy . it can prove dependable when you hear a voice say ' i love you ' and then you ask the oracle ' ok , who said that ? the reply from the oracle should be an ' i love you ' . who are you , oracle ? just this .
Well, you posted in the psychic section, so, barring there's some kind of spirit that has for some reason taken a shine to you, he's implying that this kind voice is a manifestation of the gift you have, in a way that's easy for you to understand - and for you, that just so happens to be the idea that there is the voice, rather than the true gift that's driving it. That's okay, though. Some things we aren't meant to know in full.
Things can manifest to me in many ways. I can get a message in a dream, but then the content of the dream can either be symbolic or litteral. Usually very realistic scenes (either flashes from something that may happen or vivid conversations with somebody or something that has a message for me) are to be taken litterally, while the more abstract stuff is usually symbolic and has to be analyzed, like cracking a code or something. At first it was frustrating but with time I "built" a collection of symbols that I know always mean the same (fireworks, cruise ship, star, heart, beacon light, etc.), so now it's way easier. The same symbols can "pop up" in my mind spontaneously during my daily life too, to drag my attention on something or give me some kind of warning. I can hear a voice too, always the same, once again to warn me, give me a much needed advice or clue, or to make me think twice about something I'm about to do ("are you sure this is a good idea?"). I know this is no mental illness, this voice is definetely NOT in my head and it never asked for some strange behavior or anything from me, unlike what we can hear from mentally ill patients (schizophrenics, among others). It's only been there for guidance and protection, which I'm grateful for because it helped me so much along the years.

Many people hear voices that give them information about the future, past and present. When I first started there were many and now there is one or two. If you experience these things keep track and write them down. As much detail as possible. The more we open our minds the clearer we will see.
I have weird things pop in and out of my head all the time. I can’t tell the difference between me talking to myself or if it is another voice. But lots of times driving down the road. Something tells me about the cop ahead. Usual 3-5 min. Boom. Cop
I don't think you are crazy at all. Many children hear and even see spiritual entities. Most lose that when they get older, I think it is good you still hear. I have heard a voice on occasion, usually in a crisis. I think it could be your spirit guide. We all have guides to help us through life, but most people just ignore them. It is possible to have more than one guide. It took a heart attack for me to contact my guide and He is so good. Tell us more.
