That show was so well cast...

 

yard work kicks my ass. getting a lot done, but everything hurts now. supposed to be nice, a little cooler, and dry most of the week. so i will do prep projects for winter, and ultimately for spring, and start rototilling the front later in the week. the thing is that i know i will need other supplies to make that go nicely.

my garden will grow next year. and we keep finding patches of compost, rich loamy stuff that holds its shape when you squeeze it, but breaks apart easily too. lovely.

also found some kind of fungus, looks like a mushroom that looks a lot like an acorn. hubby kept finding them, we dont know what they are yet, so we dont know if they will make the animals sick.

 

Think I pulled a groin muscle removing that hot water heater.... Ow

love splitting wood in the rain...

got soaked... thankfully the owners let me take a half break to put my clothes in the dryer.. split enough wood last 2 weeks..

new job starting friday... good stuff... full paychecks for 3 months

 

It's more of a pull than a hit... Fug'it. Just more pain in a new place.


I was up on the ladder anyways, cut and fit the end cap on that siding job before dark. That was a weird cut fill piece. Nothing is square on that end.

Tricky parts gonna be fitting the tongue and groove siding boards around the 4X4 top pieces of that arbor/pergola/thingy.... They go in at an angle and the siding needs to be cut so it just fits around them. All hand saw cuts. They also need to slide together tight as if those 4X4's weren't there and it was just tongue and groove siding on a plain wall... This should be fun. Gotta pack insulation behind them first.

authentic OEM apple lightning cables have no text printed on the cable jacket. chinese knockoffs may have "manufactured for Apple" printed on the cable jacket.

some chinese lightning cables are very good quality and contain braided shielding like the true product which adds strength to the cable the more inexpensive chinese grades lack this and will wear out in time where the cable meets the connector body.

the cheap or "normal quality" chinese lightning cables cost about $0.60 per cable while the "hi copy" version costs up to twice that.

they are otherwise indistinguishable

Everything feels good now and I'm thinking about back to 90% of my movement I just can't lift things or anything lol.
