I would do an ethynol extract rather than tea. It's easy but can take a few days to get everything out...tea can be faster and done in a day.
The tea is so disgusting it's making me gag a little now and it's been 3-4 years since I had tea.

Slowly cook it down, into a peanut butter texture. Goes down easily like that. Just roll into pills or dry it out more into a crust and pill those into gel caps. Smells like steak sauce

ive heard that before about the tea tasting very very awful, so im thinking about whenever I get ahold of some powder, to try a Alchohol food safe extract possibly, I now it takes about 3 to 9 days to get everything out, but I think it would be easier to down than pedro tea especially if you freeze it into balls or something like that, I do plan on eventually doing the tea though just for a comparison someday, always been intrigued by this cactus and the goodies inside.

I have one more question if anybody knows the answer to this, is it possible to dry out the green inner san pedro flesh with the minimum amount of boiling, like cut it into stars, and then simply and carefully cut the green out away from the core, and then use a food dehydrator to make chips and the chop into powder with a coffee grinder? or is boiling and then freezing the strips to scrap off easily a must? and would the goodies still be active without the boiling
