If I can help someone - anyone, then I am glad that I'm writing this. I wrote an 8 page poem about a high school girl coming out to her mother. It deals with emotions she had building up to it, and the way she was treated by her sister and grandfather, and the way she was mistreated by her own mother. I think a great thing to do would be to show this poem (link removed) first to the person that you're coming out to, so that they see how they need your support, and they see what could happen if they do not support you.
