I am not a fan of the Grateful Dead, but I came across this video on YouTube of Bob Weir and Jerry Garcia on Letterman back in 1982, which is hilarious because Bob Weir is apparently out of his mind on something. In the comments section a lot of people were saying he was tripping, while others were saying he was coked out. Not sure which one it was, but man he was definitely zoning hard on something.

Bobby shows a classic example of how musicians become dissociated with the surrounding world, as they live a repeat cycle of sound. When you're only good at one thing and that one thing pays the bills, thats all you can do. Bobby has a history with speed and coke whether or not, he still performs. He hasnt let anyone down and carried the Grateful Dead Futhur than any other member ever could. Bobby being the main man, and a teh true backbone of the Dead. .. Many people abandoned the band when Jerry died. At the time Jerry was the bear, the cuddle love type and Bobby was the wound up energy aside that. This created a roller coaster of emotional bipolar sets night after night. We know Bob for what Bob is,, That daisy duke wearing, plastic high top sporting, wired out bug eyed spitting weirdo. Some are hard to except he may be sitting for the rest of his career with the (Dead unofficial) ..
