    I am inkless.

Do you think this is a good or a bad thing?

It's dumb to tattoo yourself with images if they have no meaning. especially if not to you. only do it if it's something you know will be with you the rest of your life... not just physically but also mentally.
I just recently inked myself about a nickel sized peace sign on my arm, and i know i'll never regret that. :)
But then again, if you wanna get a tat just for the look of it then thats cool too, especially if you know you can do that and never regret it. But I don't think anybody can decide for you whether it's a good or bad thing except for yourself. It's your body, and you are the one who knows why you decided to get that tat, so how in the hell would they know anyway?
    So, tis both. X)

    Have a nice day!

It's actually subjective. People get tats for a lot of reasons. If you don't have a significant reason behind getting a tat then stay inkless.

I've no compelling reason to mutilate my body, so yeah, inkless.

I am inkless and intend to stay that way.

I have seen some beautiful ink though and some that were very personal to the individual. My daughter decided to get a tat and while I would rather she had not, she at least chose one that is nice to look at and is able to be covered when needed. She had it done 2 years ago and last year had the edges of the birds and feather and the colours touched up.

People need to really choose carefully not only the design but the artist. What might be trendy for a 20 year old may look rather foolish when you are 50. They also need to maintain the tats once they get them and have them re-inked when needed. You are going to have a tat forever so then spend the money and have it done properly.

My opinion is that tattoos are ugly and tacky looking. I can't see why so many people want to permanently deface their bodies.

We have enough biometrics they record.

There's acceptable reasons or places or whatever, to get tattoos. But it doesn't seem worth it, to me.

They see it as putting their best face forward.
I've been tattooed but not with ink. Of course in writing about it ink could be involved.

It's not polite to give opinion unless asked. But since you asked me....I think I would rather tattoo my computer screen and it would have just as much merit than if I defaced my skin. Besides that, I have been given a commandment from God not to get inked up. And I take that commandment extremely seriously. If I did somehow wake up drunk with a tatto, I would soon enough intend to scrape it out of my skin with a cold hard metal brush if needed, until every last bit of ink was gone again. Yeah I'm not like people who go around getting tatto's.
