City sidewalks are disgusting, let's hope u do not step on a small peice of broken glass that cuts open ur foot, allowing the germs from the greasy fermented garbage juice to enter the wound and cause gangrene. Then u might not have a foot to walk on bare.
Well actually you are right. I would never walk barefoot in Philadelphia. Only in New York City. More comfortable to me, especially the subways (which are admittedly filthy). This is because most people encountering a barefoot person will assume that they are homeless and probably crazy and won't want to approach spewing stupid stuff as you have. They'd be afraid of finding themselves on the track as a train was arriving. Most other New Yorkers would view that as good social Darwinism.
