I was fucked so bad that it almost destroyed my life. I had and am still having not much courage to live and meet new people. Being in crowds demands extraordinairy negotiation. Life has gotten pretty shitty. I wonder what the other persons's Karmas look like, or do they even care? And I wonder if there are real "communities" who pick people out and fuck them over until they can't sleep at night.

Being fucked by others is a fact of life - It is not that which defines us - but the calibre of character we show in '"Bouncing Back"

    Hi Gina. :)

In any case, I hate pity parties like this. Shit happens to everyone. Tons of bad shit has happened to me. You either chose to become a victim and continue to let people and situations continue to define you or you grow some balls and become strong and break through the clouds and see the sunshine. Your choice.

This is in "mind fuck" rather than in mental health, so it's not clear if this is just a mind fuck or a serious post.

Assuming that the OP is serious, must strongly disagree with the quote.

Yes, shit happens to everyone. How severe it is, what resources you have to cope with that, and the degree to which one does or doesn't have bad things coming isn't something that any of us can judge, imho.

If you can just get through that with sheer force of will, that's great, but I'm not so sure that anyone can just decide to be strong and make their problems go away in every situation.

The advice of just toughing up is great if it works. I don't really have anything against giving someone a little bit of sympathy if that's what they want and need though.

Therapy might help you work out whatever is going on.

What I have heard said about Karma is that it is better to say "why not me?" than to say "why me", and that this helps the karma pass more easily.

I'm not sure if there really is such a thing as karma, but I think the general idea is that pretty much everyone has a shitload coming, it's just a matter of when it arrives. We suffer, and that pays our debt. Those who make us suffer take on the debt, which they must eventually pay.

Yeah, it happens. Fuck it. It's gonna keep happening until you learn how to not let it happen, and when it does, how to not let it bother you.
    As for the people, fuck'em.

you have to learn to reflect their evil character back at them and destroy them by their own sword.

I do that, Ace, unintentionally, as I don't want their evil character absorbed into me, so there is really no choice about it.

TO OP, sometimes you have to imagine yourself in a suit of armour that nothing can penetrate, or picture anyone giving you grief, on the toilet bowl....lol...just like anyone else.

Hey now, I'm confused. Yours is post #4 with only OP, r0llinstoned and billyx1120 before you. I'm only just now reading this thread for the first time (it's currently top of the category on the home page). You say "Hi Gina."

If you think I'm Thrashed Mirror, you're wrong. I don't have other accounts here. No need. I'm not dishonest, cowardly or insecure. I am who I say I am and I don't hide behind anything or anyone.

As for your message to Thrashed Mirror, presuming you meant it for ginalee14 (my old username) .. no need for me to say anything except no.

I liked the idea that we can move past stuff that needs to be left behind. I hope you're doing well with the new baby and, if you've got it in you to let it be .. then this message to you right now is already water under the bridge. I mean what I say.

Moving forward, in Peace (I can't do it alone),
