I don't really know what their current pay scheme is, when I retired I was on a $2500 a month salary. When I started I think it was per hour when working, and sometimes I would take temp jobs in between stuff.

That is awesome! You must have been able to save so much with your lifestyle! My goal is to get a nice cozy little motor home and travel around in it. I have had an old school bus before with others but I think I would like something for just me and maybe one other lady friend if she comes along. :0

♥ ♣ :sunny: Old Wolf... Humble Wise One! :daisy: ~ Yes... your words are indeed very true... the addiction of being glued to the internet has been a huge factor in people drowning in deep loneliness and isolation, lack of personal creativity and purpose in Life... and being without any profoundly *meaningful* face~to~face in~person sharings, contacts, conversations, outings and friendships! Sickness, ill~health, diabetes, depression, and mass obesity and violence are also a result of this internet addiction! ♣ But, excellent True non~propaganda news can be abundantly found on the internet via YouTube and from many other alternative global news offerings on the web. There are massive libraries of B@@KS available to read Free online and millions of excellent articles etc. BUT... people need to use the internet for a *Purpose*... and not to just waste one's Life. ♣ I absolutely despise the pro~animal cruelty, violent blood and gore murderous video games, and pornography of all vile types on the internet... I *never* visit such things on the internet. These diabolical things and websites Kill the Spirit, body, mind, life of the people sucked into them. ♣ A person has to be pure~hearted and have inner spiritual wizdom to really use the internet for good, for benefit... but, it should be in a *measured* way... for a real and good purpose! ♥

♥ Old Wolf my cherished spiritual Brother... it is Wonderful to Know that you are living the blessed Way... with profound Wisdom! ♥ Namaste! ♥

Yes, much has changed.
The net offers a reflection to the world.
It has not been a positive statement.
Too many have isolated themselves, and think that striking the keyboard is the same a Doing. Almost as bad a thinking that talking is the same as Doing - aye ? Looking in the mirror often shows one how to laugh at oneself.
Doing is the living of your Life in such a Way as you Become the Being you Know in your heart you are capable of Being
May we all strive to Open ourSelfs the More

Blessings along your Way (often the lesson we learn from - which means we act from that knowledge)

Namaste (my spirit bows to your spirit)

Actually I found myself using the majority of my earnings to help the people in need. There was frequently a lot of red tape, which myself and a number of other workers could shortcut around by offering help ourselves.

My needs were all met, I wanted for nothing, so giving a little back to those who were truly in need was never a hard decision for me to make.

Fast forward to today, and I have a $1k per month pension on top of my Social Security, so I am still very well taken care of, and still able to live the life of my dreams, traveling the country at will, and enjoying my life the way I see fit.

Not many people get to live the life of their dreams, but I have been blessed by being able to do just that.

While the internet certainly offers much of the bad, it is balanced out by a lot of good. For this reason, I believe that the good out weighs the bad for those of us who choose to use it for the good.

It is said that good and evil require each others presence in order to exist, and that may be true, but we as individuals have the ability to take the righteous path and make our time on earth a meaningful one.

Alas, My Friend, I have never found anything even remotely offensive in your posts, which I always look forward to, and are always welcome here.

Safe travels, you are in our thoughts and prayers.

Glad to see people making a success of this. I.have been trying to get on the road for some time now only to be smacked down by one disaster after another. Unfortunately I don't have a van just yet. Stuck with a car at the moment. With winter coming to the NE I want to get out of here ASAP as I have a feeling this winter will be worse than last year. I have an income without working but cost of living here is so high it is impassable to save for that van I have wanted for so long. I am thinking about heading to Florida in the next 2 weeks and saving money over the winter to save for a van. I had some repairs done to my car to get ready for this trip.

How do people keep up on mail on the road.

Another problem I have is that I have to take medication for pain and the new laws have made traveling for people like me impassable.

Of course the obvious barrier I have is that i don't have a van. Just a mid sized car. So I might have to stay in rooms and flop houses till I get the money to buy a van.

Anyone have suggestions as to good places to start in FL. Is FL even a good place to start my journey.

The sad part is I was on my way out of here once but had to come back and got stuck here for another year. This time failure is not an option for me. I will be on the road in the next few weeks.

Any advice or input would be appreciated.

Greetings Dalamar!

My apologies for the very belated reply.  I have been offline for about a year helping some former coworkers building off grid cabins.  No phones, internet, or TV.  Primitive living at it's finest.

I'll be looking forward to an update on your status!

Cheers!
