Their are a few places where I live that are helicopter pads for various reasons deep in the mountains.

Always a great view.

Me and my roommate go to them often and smoke weed.

We had two rounds of thunder/lightning storms roll through yesterday and one the day before. Serious stuff.

He is a happy dog. Look at where he is. Gorgeous. I hope there was a stream somewhere so he could get a drink.

 

I have a tire hung from a tree that she tries to pull down tell she basically has to sit down. Good exercise cause she stays put.

 

I'm not ready to go back to society yet.

its not happy to loose your wilderness..

there were over 4,000 firefighters including the national guard fighting it... it took our power for 8 days. we got the power back this last Friday.

the night pic is a day after the fire started, picture takin from my lawn.

the following mushroom cloud is what it turned into when many fires met day 3...

thankfully the wind was not blowing towards my place.. but others were not so lucky.

forest fires are a crazy experience....saw and did things I not done before.
