I never felt Zimbabwa painting was done, so i have let it sit, and now it has dawned on me what i want to do...I am going to turn some of the color poles in the bead into nude profiles of people....just colored outlines...so i will be making the black sections into impressionism figures..... yay....feels right and just what this painting needs.
I must say to you, glow===great art...luvly paintings...I LOVE it.... i will post some paintings which my wife painted long time ago...she gave some nice colours in her oil paintings.. :bandana: TIger
Thank you very much. Yes, please do, make a thread of your wife''s paintings, Tiger. i love to see other people's art..... I will get up into the attic at some point and take more photos to post here....
Sure, it is ok....That is a very beautiful painting....... Thank you for posting it..... Oh, there is the second painting, and i love that one very much. BEAUTIFUL!
@glow;.I am gonna put 2 more paintings done by my wife..I believe they date from 1987.. my wife was from India and the pic here is a really very good painting of an old lady which she met in real life...I love the colours.. ===second pic is an Indian village girl...I'm gonna stop after this because I feel I am disturbing your painting thread==it's YOURs,glow..
That is quite all right, Tiger.....You can put all of your wife's paintings here, if you wish.... I don't mind. I think your wife was an excellent artist......I love that you are sharing them here..... I took some quick photos of some sports paintings that are in Stan's room...he always requests sports...and it is not my forte , obviously...look how I put the home on top of the the visitor in billboard in one painting....DUH! ...but I was told that in a Babe Ruth movie....home was on top of visitor....so, never studied things like that....but .....taught me to research sports stuff from then on...I went impressionistic for baseball player and football player. Stan played both...but does not still play football anymore...just baseball....He told me his favorite number to wear in sports was 31, so i always paint him with that number....I think i do better with things i paint when I have a real feeling and understanding for what i am painting.....warning...Pens........
silly sketch of a comic I was going to do....with Stan and Sullivan, the golden retriever, who goes to all of the games..never got around to doing the comic yet....many ideas still yet to be realized in my life....
awwwhhh...thank you....I am thinking light soft turquoisy color now..... but I won't monotone it, i don't think...my muses do all of the work. I check in back with them from time to time...... i sit down one day soon and there it is.....
Some Christmas past watercolors.... Picasso's Santa.... Street lamp.... From our house to yours.... Watercolored Christmas cards....
